Welcome to Smart Plant Detector (“App”). By accessing or using the App, websites, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for the activity that occurs on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You may upload photos, notes, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services.

No illegal activity, reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Services
No infringing, harmful, or misleading content
No attempts to access other users’ data

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features may require a paid plan. Prices and features are described in the App or store listing. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled via your app store account settings. Taxes may apply.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, designs, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimer

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that identifications or care recommendations are error-free or will produce specific outcomes. Use your own judgment before acting on advice.

AI and Liability Disclaimer

Smart Plant Detector uses artificial intelligence technologies to identify plants and provide care guidance. While we strive for accuracy, the App’s outputs can contain errors and should not be considered definitive or a substitute for advice from qualified horticulture professionals or local experts. Always verify critical information independently and use your best judgment when acting on recommendations.

The information and recommendations provided by the App are for educational and informational purposes only. You assume full responsibility for any actions you take based on the App’s outputs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Plant Detector and its owners, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or adverse outcomes arising from the use of or reliance on the App, its identifications, care guides, reminders, or any related content.

No Warranties: The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
No Professional Advice: The App does not provide professional horticultural or agricultural advice.
